Thank you for your support

Thank you for your support
Dear Supporters & Friends,

"Life's greatest reward is the service we do for other's..."
I am writing you today to thank all, who voted, volunteered and supported me in the 2021 primary election.
There are many to thank, as it takes a tremendous effort on the part of countless people to compete in an election.
Voter turnout was low, but residents cast their votes, and I am grateful for the 42 percent that chose to support me in this five person race.
As I knocked on doors and spoke with many of you, I heard your concerns about employment, mental health, transportation and so many other issues we face and I am committed to working with you to fight for solutions and resources to address them.
Thank you to all of the residents who voted absentee and those that braved a snowstorm and COVID-19 to vote in-person. I look forward to earning the opportunity to serve you.
Moving forward to the general election on April 6th, I will need your support even more.  For more information on how to join the CoggsJones 4 County team visit www.coggsjones4cnty.com or call (414) 326-6821.
God bless you and stay safe.

About

Priscilla Coggs-Jones Announces Her Candidacy for the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors-10th District Seat in Upcoming Spring 2021 Election

(MILWAUKEE) - On Saturday, January 2, 2021, Priscilla Coggs-Jones, activist, announced her candidacy in the 10th District for the upcoming spring election scheduled for February 16, 2021 and April 6, 2021.

"After a tremendous amount of thought and encouragement from a number of local residents, I have decided to offer my name for election to the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors-10th District," Coggs-Jones said.  "Our current Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors has accomplished some very important work.  Given that this seat has been vacated and a special election has been called, I would like to add to the Board by bringing my history of volunteer community work and fresh ideas to the table."

Coggs-Jones’ commitment to the park’s system was nurtured as she was employed at the Dr. Martin L. King, Jr. Park.  Her more than 10 years of experience working in the Human Resources field has aided in Coggs-Jones recognizing the need for more employment opportunities for residents.  She plans to spend time talking and meeting with residents to hear their concerns and ideas."  Coggs-Jones shared, "Through the years, I have continued our family's tradition of service to the people.  Although I stand on the shoulders of my mother, who had the privilege of serving this district for many years, and my family whose service has been felt in Milwaukee and across the State of Wisconsin, I intend to earn the support of residents based on my individual ideas and efforts for this district.” Coggs-Jones said.

“I know the struggles, I have lived them myself, and have chosen to use the power of service to help improve our community.” Coggs-Jones said.   She went on to say, "I have always been a soldier for the people, by working in a variety of capacities to make Milwaukee a better place, let me share just a few highlights of the work I have done.”
